We have figured it out! I can’t wait to VISIT your school in this wonderful new way!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

I teach your kids to Draw! Draw! Draw! just like always! But I’m in my studio and you’re where you are. The lesson is PERSONALIZED and LIVE, broadcast through your school’s technology. I answer your QUESTIONS and talk to your students while I teach, through my LIVE interactive website. IT IS SO COOL!

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO WE NEED?

Nothing you don’t already have in your classroom!

WHAT WILL WE DRAW?

My LIVE webcast assemblies are FUN and PERSONAL. Your school will COLLABORATE WITH ME and CHOOSE its lessons from my list of ABSOLUTELY AWESOME ART INSPIRATIONS. Your students have the opportunity to pick where they want to travel with their imaginations! Perhaps they will want to have…

“Mr. Mark webcasting LIVE from his Antarctic Penguin Research Station!”

Or…”Mr. Mark LIVE webcasting from ‘The Land Of Dinosaurs!'”

Or possibly…”Mr. Mark LIVE webcasting from the surface of the moon!”

WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE ARE THE STUDENTS?

I’m in Texas in my state of the ART hi-fun hi-tech studio. The students can be in the cafeteria, in the gym, or in their INDIVIDUAL classrooms. You CHOOSE!

HOW DO THE LOGISTICS WORK?

You and I do a test a week before our event. We will check internet connection, audio, sound and projector bulb brightness.

WHY TWO ASSEMBLIES?

One for K-2 and one for 3-5 or 3-6, or 7-8. My LIVE WEBCASTS are tailored to be age appropriate to the skills and abilities of each age group.

DO THE CHILDREN NEED SUPPLIES?

Students and Teachers just need pencils, paper and a clip board, slate or book to use as a lap desk if they’re not at tables or desks. Sitting on the floor for my LIVE WEBCAST works great too!

Webcast School Assembly – “Beam” Mark Kistler right into your school!

We scheduled two Mark Kistler webcasts last week for our “Art Day” in our elementary school. We did one assembly for K-2, and the other for grades 3-5. It was our first time participating in a webcast assembly, and I was a little nervous about how it would be received. I am happy to report that it went extremely well. The students were engaged in the drawing lessons for the entire time. Even the kindergarteners were enjoying it and participating the entire hour! Many of the students went home and drew some more with Mark Kistler’s website lessons and Cornwall’s recorded webcast lessons. I received positive feedback from the students, and parents, as well. Many parents thanked me for scheduling such a fun, exciting assembly! I will definitely do this again.Jodi P. Art teacher, Cornwall Elementary

DO YOU STILL DO IN-PERSON SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES?

I sure do! I’ve visited over 7,000 schools over the last 35 years! I just LOVE my job! Click here to learn more!

WHY ART?

WHY ART? WHY ART??!! “Studies show that students of the arts in all disciplines outperformed their non-arts peers on the SAT by 102 points in 2010.”
– The College Board, 2010, Group Profile Report

“Being able to transfer thoughts into three dimensional drawings develops critical thinking and visual communication skills.”
– Tim Decker, Former “Simpsons” & Disney Animator

“If they’re worried about their test scores and want a way to get them higher, they need to give kids more arts…”
– Tom Horne, Arizona State Superintendent

“Just look at the inventors of the iPhone and the developers of Google… Creative experiences are part of the daily work life of engineers, business managers, and other professionals… America’s children will need to be inventive and imaginative. The best way to foster that creativity is through arts education.”
– Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan

Becky Johnson -Greenville, TN

Your class is my children’s first exposure to live, on-line learning, and I must say that I am very impressed with your classes! I love that they’re learning more drawing techniques and that they get a gentle introduction to live, on-line classes. You are a fabulous teacher and the kids love the classes! I am also impressed with how well you interact with kids.
